The report is there to support a release decision
A useful report does more than list defects. It connects quantity, specification checks, function tests, appearance, packaging, defect counts, and photo or video evidence to the buyer's next decision: approve, hold for rework, reject, or accept commercially with documented conditions.

Frequently asked questions
01When should PSI be booked?
Contact us ideally about one week before the target date so there is time to confirm scope and coordinate with the factory. Shorter notice may be possible, but the inspection itself should take place when the order is complete or close to complete and enough units are packed for representative sampling.
02Does PSI include packaging checks?
Yes. Packaging, labeling, carton condition, and assortment are standard parts of the review when relevant to the order.
03Should I pay the supplier's final balance before PSI?
As a practical control point, the buyer should normally review the PSI report before authorizing shipment or releasing the final balance, subject to the purchase contract and payment terms agreed with the supplier.
04Can an order pass AQL and still need follow-up?
Yes. A pass means the sampled defect count stayed within the agreed acceptance criteria. If the result is close to the limit, the same issue repeats, or the known defects could drive returns and complaints, the buyer may still request sorting, rework, or reinspection before release.
